Throwing Apple During Road Rage In West Chester Results In Arrest

A Chester Springs man is charged with throwing an apple at a moving vehicle and hitting the driver inside the vehicle in West Chester.

WEST CHESTER, PA —A 33-year-old Chester Spring man was arrested on charges of throwing an apple at a moving vehicle, striking the driver inside the vehicle on North Church and Market streets, according to police records.

Jarek Rodriguez was arraigned before District Judge Marc J. Lieberman on charges of propelling missiles, disorderly conduct, and related charges. He is free on $5,000 bail, awaiting a preliminary hearing later this month

At 8:45 p.m. on Nov. 22, police responded to a road rage incident at North Church and West Market streets.

The victim reported that the male operator of another vehicle threw an apple from their vehicle into the victim's vehicle, striking the victim.

The suspect fled from the scene. Police issued a warrant for Rodriguez, who was taken into custody following an unrelated traffic stop on Monday, March 6.
