Traffic Alert: Downtown West Chester on Sunday
Several downtown roads will be closed Sunday for the 41st annual Restaurant Festival, featuring over 40 restaurants and food vendors.

WEST CHESTER, PA - Motorists can expect some heavy traffic Sunday as several roads will be closed for the 2022 Restaurant Festival.
The 41st annual festival is scheduled from noon to 5:30 along Gay Street from Matlack Street to Darlington Street.
Over 40 restaurants and food vendors and over 60 artisans and crafters will be on the festival grounds. Several bands will be providing entertainment.

A beer and wine garden offered by The Side Bar will be on Church Street.
The following streets will close to all traffic at 8:00 a.m. and reopen at approximately 9:00 p.m.

- Gay St.- From N. Matlack St. to N. Darlington St.
- N. Matlack St.- From Gay Street to E. Market St.
- N. Walnut St. - From Prescott Al. to E. Market St.
- N. High St. - From E. Chestnut St. to E. Market St.
- N. Church St. - From E. Chestnut St. to E. Market St.
Parking Restrictions on these streets begin at 7:00 a.m. Borough officials request that all vehicles be removed to avoid ticketing and towing.
