Trio Of Carjacking Suspects In Chester County On the Run
Police are searching for suspects in two carjackings in Caln Township and one in the city of Coatesville.
CALN, PA —Police are searching for suspects who committed armed robberies and carjackings at 9:45 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11 in the parking lot of the Wawa, 3710 Lincoln Highway in the Thorndale section of Caln Township.
Police said the suspects are considered armed and dangerous. They advised motorists to stay from the suspects and contact Caln Township Police Department Criminal Investigation Division at 610-383-1821, or 610-383-7000.

First carjacking: A suspect approached a 23-year-old victim who was returning to his vehicle on the west side of the parking lot. A second suspect demanded the victim hand over his keys. When the victim refused a suspect drew a handgun from his waistband and pointed it at the victim. The second suspect threw the victim to the ground where he was punched and kicked in the head and face.
While on the ground, the assailants took the victim’s keys and wallet. One suspect entered the victim’s vehicle, a dark blue 2012 Toyota Camry (PA registration LBX3601), and fled the scene westbound on Lincoln Highway. The assailant was described as a Black male in his 20s, 6 feet tall, slim build, wearing a black jacket and a purple bandana covering his face.

Second carjacking: A suspect entered a blue 2011 Ford Fusion (PA registration MBW1495), reported stolen out of Philadelphia, and also fled the scene westbound on Lincoln Highway.
The second assailant was only described as a Black male in his 20s.
Third carjacking: A third vehicle at the Wawa at the time of this incident, a silver 2010 GMC Terrain (PA registration LVK9315) had been stolen at gunpoint in Coatesville City. The suspect also fled westbound on Lincoln Highway.
None of the three stolen vehicles have been recovered.
