Two Arrested In Chesco Weekend Stabbings Of Half Dozen

Jose Santos Jr., 18, and Daimir Fryer, 21, are in Chester County Prison Wednesday awaiting preliminary hearings.

COATESVILLE, PA — Two Coatesville men are in Chester County Prison on charges of stabbing a half a dozen people during a Sunday night brawl in the 300 block of South First Avenue.
Jose Santos Jr., 18, and Daimir Fryer, 21, are accused of stabbing six victims, including an unidentified man who was found at the scene bleeding on the hands and right leg, police said.

The two were arraigned Sunday on charges of aggravated assault and related charges.

According to police:
  • Coatesville police were called to the 300 block of South First Avenue around 10:30 p.m
  • They took one man to the Paoli Hospital for treatment of stab wounds..
  • Five other victims who fled the fight arrived at Chester County Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening stab wounds.
Santos Jr. is being held on $50,000 bail and Fryer's bail was set at $75,000.
