Two Chester County Businesses Rank In Forbes 2022 Top Employers

Two Chester County companies are on Forbes 2022 op100 employers, according to a national ranking on the Forbes website.
Penn Medicine, which owns Chester County Hospital, West Chester, is #43. Penn Medicine employs 44,254 people. Penn Medicine also owns several hospitals in Philadelphia; Lancaster General Hospital; and Princeton Health, N.J.

Vanguard, based in Malvern, ranked #75. Vanguard employs 17,300. Vanguard is an investment advisor that is owned by its shareholders. It has over $7 trillion in assets.
The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, which has locations in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, was ranked #1.
Forbes partnered with the market research firm Statista to compile the list by surveying 60,000 employees working for businesses with at least 1,000 employees.
They were asked to rate their companies on working conditions, compensation and development opportunities.
Participants were asked their willingness to recommend their companies to friends and family and to nominate organizations other than their own.
