There are lots of restaurants, gift shops, and florists in Kennett Square ready to help plan a romantic Valentine's Day.

KENNETT SQUARE, PA — Kennett Square Police department shared some ideas to express love for the community on Valentine’s Day.

The Kennett Collaborative, a community group in Kennett Square, put together ideas for planning ahead to have a romantic Valentine’s Day.

  • Hilltop Flower Co., 217 E. State St., is accepting pre-orders for their bouquets and arrangements featuring a classic Valentine’s Day palette of reds, pinks, and soft whites. Bouquets are hand-wrapped in recyclable paper and arrangements are presented in a classic glass vase and bouquet box.⁠ Hilltop offers in-store pickup and local delivery, starting Friday, Feb. 10, and will be open on Valentine’s Day for pickups and last-minute orders.
  • Portabellas of Kennett Square, 108 E. State St., is offering its 12th annual Valentine’s Day celebration menu created by Chef Brett includes Oysters Amore and Filet Mignon. Call for reservations.
  • The Market at Liberty Place, 148 W. State St. On Valentine's Day, 15 percent of all food sales that evening will be donated to Good Neighbors Home Repair, a local nonprofit dedicated to repairing homes so families have warmer, safer, drier, and healthier places to live.
  • Talula's Table, 102 West State St., offers a special Valentine’s menu “with a French Kiss.” The three composed courses are perfect to heat and enjoy at home and need to be pre-ordered by Friday, Feb. 10.
