Water Utility Work To Restrict Travel On West Chester Pike

Aqua Pennsylvania will install water mains between Boot Road and Alice Grim Blvd. starting July 20, requiring a lane closure.

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — Water main installation will require closing a lane of traffic along West Chester Pike next week. Aqua Pennsylvania, Inc. will shut down westbound Route 3 (West Chester Pike) between Boot Road and Alice Grim Boulevard in Newtown Township, in Delaware County. The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced the closures will begin Monday, July 20, and continue through Thursday, July 23, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

PennDOT advises motorists to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.

Aqua Pennsylvania, Inc. of Bryn Mawr, will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
