Dental Practice Peeping Tom Admits to Taking Videos

A former West Chester dental worker pleaded guilty on Wednesday to videotaping female coworkers without their consent, several outlets are reporting.

Joseph C. Koliminga, 27, will spend three years on probation and have to report his whereabouts in compliance with Megan’s Law for another 15 under the terms of his plea agreement, according to the Unionville Times. He will also, according to the Daily Local News, have to write letters of apology to each of his victims.

West Goshen Township police opened an investigation in August after a female employee at Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates of Chester County, located on Marshall Street, found a smartphone set to record in the women’s changing room, according to court documents.

Police later traced the phone to Koliminga and confirmed, after interviews with the victims, that he’d taped five female employees changing. The Times also reported that, in 2006, a coworker that he was dating discovered video of female office workers changing.

Judge William P. Mahon accepted the plea agreement hashed out between Koliminga’s attorney and the prosecution, despite strong reservations, according to the Daily Local News. He explained he just wanted to save the victims from the embarrassment of a public testimony.

“I’m not happy about it,” the judge reportedly said.
