West Chester Area School District was ranked among the top school districts in Chester County by data firm Niche.
WEST CHESTER, PA — West Chester Area School District earned an A+ rating and was ranked the fifth best school district in Chester County by data firm Niche.
Data compiler Niche today released its ranking for the best Pennsylvania school districts for the 2020-2021 school year.
West Chester Area School District earned a A+ ratings in the specific areas of Academics, Clubs and Activities, and College Prep and Health and Safety. It got an A- in the category of Teachers and a B- in Diversity.

West Chester Area School District has 11,958 students in grades K-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 14 to 1. According to state test scores, 66 percent of students are at least proficient in math and 81 percent in reading.
