West Chester Attorney Named Lawyer Of The Year For Municipal Work

The peer-reviewed Best Lawyers in America has recognized Stacey L. Fuller recognized for her work in land use, zoning, and municipal law.

WEST CHESTER, PA — Chester County attorney Stacey L. Fuller is being honored as Lawyer of the Year by nationally recognized Best Lawyers in America for her work in land use and zoning law, and in municipal law.

The honor comes after Fuller was named Best Lawyer for Land Using and Zoning Law, as well as Municipal Law for a fifth year in a row, according to a news release. Fuller is a partner at the law firm Gawthrop Greenwood, PC, with offices in West Chester and Greater Wilmington.

The peer-reviewed publication Best Lawyers in America© Lawyer of the Year status is awarded to the lawyer that receives the highest peer-reviewed feedback evaluated and compiled by Best Lawyers®, which calls itself the definitive guide to legal excellence.

Fuller represents municipalities, townships, boroughs, planning commissions, zoning hearing boards, and other governmental entities, as well as individual developers and residents on issues such as zoning and other land development matters, a news release explained.

She also represents charter and alternative schools and students and their parents in education and special education matters as part of Guthrup Greenwood PC's Government and Education Law practice.

Fuller is a member of the Board of Directors for the Chester County Bar Foundation as well as for the West Chester Area Education Foundation and West Chester Area Senior Center. She previously served on the boards of Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania, Chester County Chamber of Business & Industry, Chester County Bar Association and West Chester Area YMCA.

She is a dedicated supporter of the March of Dimes, serving on the board of March for Babies and as an Ambassador Family for the March for Babies in West Chester, and chairing the Sponsorship Committee and evaluating nominations for the March of Dimes’ Salute to Chester County Women of Achievement.

Listed in The Best Lawyers in America® and Super Lawyers, Fuller is a member of the Pennsylvania and Chester County Bar Associations. She is a past Chair of the PBA Municipal Law Section and has been elected to the House of Delegates for the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
