West Chester Man Accused Of Assaulting Uber Driver: Police
Samuel Makowski, 19, is in Chester County Prison Friday in lieu of $75,000 bail on charges of aggravated assault and strangulation.
WEST CHESTER, PA — A 19-year-old West Chester man is accused of assaulting an Uber driver early Thursday morning in the 500 block of High Street.
Samuel Makowski is in Chester County Prison in Pocopson Township Friday in lieu of $75,000 bail after being arraigned before District Judge Marian T. Vito on charges of aggravated assault, strangulation, and related offenses.
Police said Makowski physically assaulted his Uber driver while inside the victim's vehicle and continued to assault him after exiting the victim’s vehicle.
