West Chester Man, All Ches-Mont Football Star, Dies At 45

WEST CHESTER, PA -- Patrick B. Conway, 45 of West Chester, PA, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

He was the husband of Tara S. Malin Conway.

Born April 17, 1971 in West Chester, PA, he was the son of Stephen R. Conway, Sr. of West Chester and the late Alice Hiltebeitel Conway.

Patrick was a 1989 graduate of West Chester Henderson High School, where he was Captain of the Football Team and All Ches-Mont League during his Junior and Senior years. He was also on the first West Chester Henderson Lacrosse Team.

He was a member of St. Agnes Church in West Chester.

Patrick was a millwright, and Vice-President of Conway Mechanical, Inc. of West Chester.

He enjoyed riding motorcycles and fishing.

In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by his children Kenny Conway and Seamus Conway; siblings, Stephen R. Conway Jr. (Theresa), Suzie Conway Dombroskie (Joey) and Jennifer Conway, all of West Chester; grandmother, Anne Tigue of West Chester; father-in-law, Charles R. Malin, Jr., mother-in-law, Brenda W. Malin and brother-in-law, Charles R. Malin III, all of West Chester; sister-in law, Tami Enders (Christian), nephew Luke Enders, and nieces Lyla Enders and Tess Enders, all of Pittsburgh.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 5:00-8:00 pm at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. 410 N. Church St. West Chester, PA 19380, 610-696-1181, info@DellaFH.com, and from 10:00-11:00am at St. Agnes Church, 233 W. Gay St. West Chester, PA19380; followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00am.

Interment will be private.
