West Chester Man Arrested After Biting Emergency Responder

WEST CHESTER, PA —A 25-year-old West Chester man is accused of biting emergency responders who were responding to a medical incident call, police said.
Brian Thompson Jr. is free on $20,000 bail on charges that he bit two members of the Good Fellowship Ambulance Company who were helping him with an undisclosed medical issue at 8:15 p.m. on Dec. 26.
Thompson is charged with aggravated assault, public drunkenness, and related charges.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled before District Justice Marc J. Lieberman on Jan. 16 in West Chester.

- Vishnu Jagannathan, 19, of Malvern, was arrested on Dec. 30 on drunken driving and related charges following a vehicle stop in the 200 block of West Market Street.
- Andrew Quenzker, 51, of West Chester was arrested on Jan. 1 on charges of drunken driving and related charges. Police said he was unable to perform complete sobriety tests at 1 a.m. on Jan. 1 in the 200 block of Chestnut Street.
