West Chester Man Charged With Assault In Incident With Girlfriend
West Chester police have charged a 22-year-old man with assault and strangulation after a disturbance they say involved his girlfriend.
WEST CHESTER, PA — West Chester Borough police said a borough man is charged with assault, strangulation, and other crimes after he allegedly hit his girlfriend Monday night.
West Chester Borough Police Department reported they were called on for a disturbance in a second-floor bedroom at a home in the 100 block of East Nields Street around 8:30 p.m. Monday.
Travis Lane Kief, 22, of West Chester, was taken into custody, police said. He has been charged with simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, strangulation, and harassment, according to the police incident report.

Police reported Kief is in Chester County Prison where he awaits arraignment. A preliminary hearing is pending in Chester County District Court.
