West Chester Man, Local Chef, Dies At 47

West Chester's Michael DiGiamberardino was a trained chef and huge sports fan who loved spending time with his sons, his obituary states.

WEST CHESTER, PA — Michael John DiGiamberardino, 47 of West Chester, PA died Monday December 24, 2018.

Born September 20, 1971 in West Chester, PA he was the son of Claudio V. DiGiamberardino, of Riverside CA and the late Antoinetta Pisano DiGiamberardino.

Michael was a graduate of St. Agnes School and a 1989 graduate of Bishop Shanahan High School. For most of his life, Michael worked in the restaurant business. From an early age, he worked at his family’s restaurant, Mama Lena's Restaurant of Guthriesville for many years.

Michael went to further his cooking skills by graduating from the Restaurant School to become a trained chef. He worked at several restaurants throughout his career and most recently at Pietro's Prime. Michael was a big sports fan. He truly loved spending time with his boys.

In addition to his father Michael is survived by his sons, Michael DiGiamberardino, Luca DiGiamberardino, his two brothers, Dino DiGiamberardino and his wife Kelly, their children, Jacob Andrew and Toni Lynn DiGiamberardino, Robert DiGiamberardino and ex wife Julie Tedeschi DiGiamberardino.

Relatives and Friends are invited to his visitation on Saturday December 29, 2019 from 8-9:30am at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. 410 N. Church St. West Chester 610-696-1181 www.DellaFH.com followed by his Funeral Mass 10:30am at SS Simon & Jude Church 8 Cavanaugh Ct. West Chester. Interment will be private.
