A Chester County nurse has been charged with stealing drugs from the nursing home where she worked.

A Chester County nurse has been charged with stealing drugs from the nursing home where she worked, according to 6ABC.

Carolyn Howett, 36, allegedly stole morphine and other drugs from the Pocopson Home in West Chester, marking the drugs as destroyed but instead taking them home.

According to the report, she had been an employee at the home for 15 years. However, She quit after being interviewed by police as part of their investigation.

The drugs were reportedly found in her home during a separate investigation into her live-in boyfriend, Arthur Dillard, who has also been arrested.

Howett’s bail has been set at $50,000.
