West Chester, Pa., Resident, WWII Veteran Aubrey Brown Celebrates 102nd Birthday
Generations Gather at West Chester Rehab & Healthcare

World War II veteran Aubrey Brown – who was born and raised in West Chester – was surrounded by generations of family at recent festivities for his 102nd birthday. The centenarian resides at West Chester Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Chester County.
During the war, Brown served in the Army Air Corps (since reorganized as the U.S. Air Force). Following his military service, he had a distinguished 35-year career at Wyeth Labs, where his leadership roles included supervisor.
“Aubrey is very special to all of us here,” said West Chester Rehab & Healthcare’s Laura Graham, administrator. “It was our pleasure to host his milestone birthday party and celebrate with his delightful family.”

Immensely proud of his family, Brown has five children, 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren. He has a passion for music and dancing, counting Patsy Cline among his favorite singers. Throughout his life, Brown has enjoyed sports, including football and boating, and also has a fondness of dogs.
Located at 800 W. Miner Street in West Chester, the 180-bed West Chester Rehab & Healthcare provides post-hospital care, short-term rehab and long-term residential care.
