West Chester Police Arrest A Suspect On Aggravated Assault

Police also filed charges of drunken driving, retail theft and identity theft in October.

WEST CHESTER, PA —A 52-year-old West Chester man is in Chester County Prison on lieu of $175,000 bail accused of assaulting a victim at 1 p.m. in the 400 block of Hannum Avenue.

Roderick T. Strickland was arraigned on a charge of aggravated assault. Police said he assaulted a victim who had physical injuries that required medical attention.

  • Bruce Boyer, 66, of West Chester, was arrested on drunken driving and related charges after being stopped by police at 1 a.m. Oct 3 in the 200 block of Bolmar Street.
  • Ashley Breese, 31, of Coatesville, is free on $1,500 bail on a charge of retail theft in West Chester.
  • Mahmoud Gudarzi, 35, of Quakertown, was charged on Oct. 7 with retail theft at The Giant in Downingtown.
  • Kathrine A. Paprocka, 36, of Paoli, is free on $35,000 bail on charges of identity theft and filing false reports of child abuse, according to Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police.
