West Chester Police Log: June 12-22
West Chester police arrested suspects on charges of assaulting two police officers, retail theft, weapon and drug charges and more.

WEST CHESTER, PA —Police these suspects in the borough on charges of aggravated assault, retail theft, drugs, drunken driving:
- Zachery Harrison, 22, of West Chester is in Chester County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail on charges of strangulation, aggravated assault, simple assault and false imprisonment. Police said Harrison on June 24 assaulted an unidentified victim on JUne 24 in the first block of East Market Street.
- Olvin Marrero-Sanchez, 35, West Chester is awaiting a preliminary hearing on a charge of retail theft. Police Marrero-Sanchez stole $233 worth of items on June 24 from the Giant Food Store in West Chester.
- Rebecca O’Connor, 31, of the first block of East Gay Street, is free on $3,500 awaiting an arraignment on aggravated assault, resisting arrest and related charges. Police said O’Conner on June 19 attempted to stop and arrest by pushing an officer, and then resisted and struck another officer who was arresting her for pushing the first officer.
- Cherron S. James, 27, of Coastesville is in Chester County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail awaiting arraignment on charges of illegal drugs, and carrying a concealed, loaded handgun without a license. James was arrested on a warrant at 10:45 p.m. June 17 at the intersection of Miner and Penn streets.
- Meredith Sanderson, 34, of West Chester is awaiting a preliminary hearing after being arrested at 12:43 p.m. June 12 on drunken driving and related charges following a hit-and-run accident in the 500 block of East Gay Street.
- Evan Stein, 46, of Philadelphia is awaiting trial in Chester County Justice Center after being held for court on June 21 on charges of theft, receiving stolen property and fraud. Police said Stein attempted to pass a fraudulent check on June 10 at Mid PennBank, 237 Gay St.
