West Chester Police Report Assault Left Woman's Face Cut

WEST CHESTER, PA — West Chester Borough Police responding to a domestic dispute call found a woman with a cut to her face from an assault on Sunday night.

On June 6 around 9:30 p.m. police showed up at a home in the 300 block of S. Matlack Street in West Chester.

Upon arrival, officers said they found a female who had been assaulted and who had a laceration to her face.

After an investigation, Ismael Escobar Lopez, 25, of West Grove, was charged with Simple Assault, and Harassment.

Lopez awaits a preliminary hearing at District Court 15-1-04 on June 15. He posted bail of $7,000 according to court records.
