West Chester To Vote On Mandating Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
The proposed change to borough code would require improvements during all future land development to accomodate electric vehicles.
WEST CHESTER, PA — Leaders in West Chester will decide Wednesday night whether to move forward with electric vehicle charging stations at several locations around the borough.
A public hearing on the matter is the first agenda item for the council's voting session at 6:#0 p.m.
Specifically, the hearing will address the proposed ordinance which would amend the borough's subdivision and land development code. The change would "require improvements during land development to accommodate present and future level 2 EV charging stations," according to borough documents.
