Kreutz Creek Winery at the corner of Gay and Walnut Streets in downtown West Chester is going to dogs-at least for two hours a week.
The "BYOF" (being your own food) wine bar offers a "Yappy Hour" every Thursday in June, July, and August from 6-8 p.m..
Patrons who bring their polite and well-behaved pooches get two dollars off the cost of a bottle of the locally-grown wine. Winery owner Carole Kirkpatrick says you must bring a dog to get the discount.
The Yappy Hour features live music and dogs are welcome inside, especially on those hot "dog days" of summer.
