Westtown Sports Car Dealer Leads the Nation

Sales of McLaren cars, the British high performance sports car are an indication that the region's economy is picking up, according to the Sales Manager at the Westtown McLaren Dealership.

The premium "supercar" dealership on West Chester Pike is the number one McLaren Dealership in the nation, according to the dealership.

"For the first four months of this year, McLaren Philadelphia has been the national sales leader among the British supercar manufacturer’s nine-dealer network in the United States. McLaren Philadelphia, which opened in January 2012 at 1631 West Chester Pike in Westtown Township near West Chester, PA, is the McLaren sales hub for the Philadelphia area and the Mid-Atlantic region," according to a McLaren Philadelphia press release.

 

Sales Manager Phillip Jones says “Our sales leadership position for January, February, March and April is not only a significant accomplishment by our McLaren Philadelphia team, but also indicates to us that the Philadelphia five-county area, South Jersey and Delaware economies are strong and stable, and car enthusiasts are willing to invest in a premium, high-performance motorcar.”

There are two McLaren Models Sold at McLaren Philadelphia:

• The $239,400 (base price) McLaren 12C Coupe
• The recently-introduced $268,250 (base price) McLaren 12C Spider (retractable convertible).

Both models incorporate the McLaren’s Formula 1 racing bloodlines, mechanical and technical sophistication. The 3.8-liter V8 twin turbo engine, which produces 592 horsepower and 600 lb-ft. torque is capable of reaching 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds. The 12C’s unique carbon fiber “MonoCell” chassis weighs just over 165 lbs. and is a clear representation of McLaren’s motorsport DNA.
