Garabedian is Executive Director at J.P. Morgan in loan trading operations. He holds his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from St. Joseph’s University and an MBA from Loyola University Maryland.
He has served on the Parks and Recreation Commission for Westtown as vice chair from 2017 until his departure in 2019. During his tenure there he partnered with the Westtown Historical Commission to bring to Oakbourne Park the first-ever Westtown Day.
Phil lives in Westtown with his wife Anne, a physical therapist at Chester County Hospital, and his daughter and son.
"As Supervisor I will always act with great care and diligence in how taxpayer funds are spent. We need to ensure that as a Board we are being responsible stewards of the resident’s funds," Garabedian said.
He explained this means identifying budgetary waste and increasing efficiency by reviewing current contracts; prioritizing expenditures based on the needs of our residents; and seeking outside sources of funding for projects through grants and partnerships with local, state, and federal agencies.
"If elected Supervisor, you can be assured that the fiscal stability and health of our township will always be preserved," he said.
