WEST CHESTER, PA ─ Keystone Volvo delivered the largest donation of brand-new winter coats to the West Chester Area School District since the annual Driving Away the Cold campaign began in 2008.

District caseworkers sorted through the different sizes and colors of 300 coats to prepare them for distribution to economically disadvantaged students within the district.

“We are always so fortunate to partner with Keystone Volvo,” Patricia Alstonaid, social district coordinator, said.

“Keystone Volvo is proud to have the ability to help keep those in need in the West Chester Area School District warm,” Benjamin Stein, Keystone Volvo’s general manager, said.

Driving Away the Cold is coordinated by the Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation, based in East Norriton, Montgomery County.

Approximately 177 Greater Philadelphia auto dealers are involved in the initiative that has provided over 575,000 coats over the last 15 years.
