Woman Charged After Alleged Assault In West Chester

A woman is charged with riot and assault related to an August incident in West Chester Borough.

WEST CHESTER, PA — A woman has been charged in relation to an alleged assault in West Chester Borough on Aug. 15.

Khadigah Martin, 28, is charged with Riot; Intent to Commit a Felony, two counts of Simple Assault, and Reckless Endangerment of Another Person, after police took her into custody early Sunday morning, police said.

Martin, who had been living in Coatesville, was taken into custody Sunday and transported to Chester County Prison and arraigned. Bail was set at $20,000.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled on Dec. 4 before Judge Daniel Maisano. Martin was unable to post bail and will remain at Chester County Prison until her preliminary hearing, according to court documents.
