Woman With Guns Nabbed During West Chester Traffic Stop: Police

A Philadelphia woman was arrested in West Chester last month after she was found to be wielding 2 guns with a revoked carry permit.

WEST CHESTER, PA - A Philadelphia woman was arrested in West Chester last month after she was found to be wielding 2 guns with a revoked carry permit, authorities said.

At around 11 p.m. on June 12, West Chester Borough Police Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of East Market Street, police said.

During the investigation, officers found two firearms from the vehicle of a woman, Chiquta Reed, 32, of Philadelphia, who had a revoked permit to carry firearms out of Philadelphia County, police said.

Reed was taken into custody and transported to the West Chester Police Department where she was charged with carrying firearms without a license.
