Recently, the Brookside League Inc. donated $3,274 to the City of Wilkes-Barre, to be used towards the pumps that are part of the Brookside Levy System.

The founding members of the Brookside League were Michael Chudoba, Sr., Diane Waligun, Stanley Owca, John Barnas, and Robert Smalls.
