• Luzerne County Flood Protection Authority to interview for new chief (citizensvoice.com) — Homes and businesses in Wyoming and West Wyoming will keep paying the same levee protection fees in 2026, as the Luzerne County Flood Protection Authority approved a new budget without increases. The authority, which maintains the Susquehanna River levee system protecting more than 14,200 properties, is also preparing to interview candidates for a new executive director in January.

• Exeter man arrested on felony charges involving sexual assault of minor (fox56.com) — An Exeter man was arrested by the Wyoming Area Regional Police Department on multiple felony charges tied to alleged sexual offenses against a minor in Birchwood Estates. The 18-year-old suspect is accused of indecent assault, corruption of minors, and providing alcohol to a minor, and is being held at Luzerne County Correctional Facility without bail pending further court action.
