17 More PA Businesses Warned Over Coronavirus Shutdown Order
Tuesday was the second day of enforcement of the order, issued by Gov. Tom Wolf to help slow the spread of the virus.
HARRISBURG, PA — On Tuesday, 17 more Pennsylvania businesses received warnings for not complying with Gov. Tom Wolf's order that non-life-sustaining businesses be shut down during the coronavirus outbreak.
Tuesday was the second day of enforcement of the order, which Wolf issued on Thursday. On Monday, Pennsylvania State Police had issued 27 warnings for similar violations.
Only warnings have been issued so far, but state police say that if businesses continue to not comply, they could issue citations, fines or license suspensions.

The order, which mandated all non-life-sustaining businesses close their physical locations for two weeks, is aimed to slow the spread of the new coronavirus. A list of life-sustaining businesses is here. They include grocery stores, gas stations, and pharmacies.

State police did not release the names of the businesses or specifics on their locations. But they did break down the number of warnings issued Tuesday by region:
- Troop A (Indiana, Westmoreland, Somerset, Cambria counties): 5
- Troop F (Potter, Cameron, Clinton, Tioga, Lycoming, Union, Montour, Synder, Northumberland): 3
- Troop H (Franklin, Adams, Cumberland, Perry, Dauphin): 2
- Troop L (Schuylkill, Lebanon, Berks): 1
- Troop M (Bucks, Lehigh, Northampton): 1
- Troop N (Carbon, Columbia, Monroe): 1
- Troop P (Bradford, Sullivan, Wyoming, Luzerne): 1
- Troop R (Susquehanna, Wayne, Pike, Lakawanna): 3
