The Lower Makefield Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for the past week.
LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —The thefts were reported this past week in the blotter of criminal incidents released this past week by the Lower Makefield Township Police Department.

THEFT —1300 Block of Heller Drive at 2:51 p.m. The complainant reports that a large sum of money was removed from a check cash that she did not authorize. The bank offered a copy of a check, but it is not the complainant’s signature. The monetary loss was $1,581.13.
THEFT —1600 Block of Big Oak Road at 2:17 p.m. The complainant reported that two unknown men loaded a shopping cart full of items and left the Kohl's store without paying for them. Estimated loss of about $1,000. The incident is under investigation.

Feb. 28
THEFT —Unit Block of North Manor Lane at 1:13 p.m. The complainant reports that they received a phone call telling them that their power was going to be shut off and that they needed to pay $800. The complainant then proceeded to pay the $800 through a kiosk. They were then told to do the same thing but for $400, which they did not do. The complainant then reached out to PECO and
they confirmed that it was a scam.
