TULLYTOWN, PA — The case against a Morrisville man accused of threatening Temple University while buying ammunition at a Bucks County Walmart continues to work its way through the courts.

After a hearing Tuesday in front of Judge Robert Wagner, all charges against 29-year-old Patrick Buhler stemming from the July incident were held for trial in the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas, authorities announced.

Buhler, who also has an address in Mount Bethel in Northampton County, faces misdemeanor charges of terroristic threats and harassment in the case. He has posted $100,000 bail.

According to Bucks County prosecutors, Buhler had loaded up on ammunition, knives, propane canisters and other items at the Walmart on Levittown Parkway in Tullytown on July 31. While there, he spoke to another customer about security at Temple University, asking questions about campus police and the department's response time.

He also told the customer that he "would see him in the news in the coming days," according to the Bucks County District Attorney's office.

The conversation was witnessed by an employee. It happened in the sporting goods department, where Buhler was buying five boxes of .223 ammunition. According to a police complaint, he said he was buying the ammunition because he knows police wear body armor.

While investigating, Tullytown Borough Police say, they found that Buhler had visited several other Walmart stores, where he bought additional ammunition, knives, small-cylinder propane bottles and a two-way radio and binoculars.
