Crack Cocaine, Counterfeit Bills Arrests: Lower Makefield Crimes

The Lower Makefield Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for the past week.

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —Crack cocaine and a person wanted for spreading counterfeit bills at a township retailer were among the criminal incidents the Lower Makefield Township Police reported in their police blotter for the past week.

April 10

IDENTITY THEFT — 900 block of Princess Drive, reported at Noon. The complainant reported that an unknown person(s) attempted to purchase a $100,000 vehicle in their name.

April 9

THEFT — Unit block of South Manor Lane, reported at 5:22 p.m. The complainant reported ordering three Apple watches. Two of them were removed from the package before delivery.

SOLICITORS — 1700 block of Quail Ct. reported at 7:37 p.m. The complainant reported solicitors for Verizon soliciting without permits.

April 8

DRUG ARREST —Big Oak Road and Norman Drive, reported at 1:59 a.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the discovery of marijuana, crack cocaine, and drug paraphernalia. The 22-year-old female passenger from Philadelphia was taken into custody for possession of drug paraphernalia. She will be summoned. The 23-year-old male driver from Philadelphia will also be cited.

WANTED PERSON — Route 1 and Oxford Valley Road, reported at 2:35 a.m. Police received information regarding counterfeit bills being passed at area Target stores. Police in the area observed the suspect vehicle at the location. Police stopped a vehicle to identify the occupants. A records check revealed the 34-year-old female passenger from Trenton, N.J., was wanted out of Burlington, N.J. for eight counts of burglary. She was taken into police custody.

THEFT — 600 block of Deerbrook Drive, reported at 7:08 a.m. The complainant reported that an unknown person(s) used their phone to order Lyft rides totaling $83.60 and removed $1,200.00 from their basement.

RETAIL THEFT —1600 block of Big Oak Road at Wine & Spirits, reported at 2:20 p.m. The manager reported that on April 6, a man $59.29 worth of merchandise without paying.

April 6

CREDIT CARD FRAUD —400 block of Franklin Circle, reported at 8:23 a.m. The complainant reported an unauthorized use of their credit card for $2,329.88.
