Crack Cocaine Found In Lower Makefield Traffic Stop

Lower Makefield Police charged two people with drug possession during a traffic stop on Dec. 29.

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — Two people were charged with drug possession — including one for crack cocaine — during a recent traffic stop, police said.

Lower Makefield Township Police received an alert for a stolen registration on a vehicle at 11:41 a.m. on Dec. 29 at Route 332 and Interstate 295.

Police conducted a traffic stop, leading to the arrest of the 32-year-old female driver from Levittown for possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A 39-year-old male passenger from Morrisville was also charged with methamphetamine possession and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.

A records check found that the man was also wanted out of Falls Township for larceny.

Both suspects were taken into police custody.
