Go-Kart Stolen, 2 Charged In Drug Bust: Lower Makefield Crimes

The Lower Makefield Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for the past week.

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — A stolen Go-Kart and a drug bust were among the criminal incidents reported over the past week in the blotter of the Lower Makefield Township Police Department.

FRAUD — 500 block of Cedar Hollow Drive, reported at 3:38 p.m. The complainant reported that an unknown person(s) removed $800 from their bank account.

THEFT —1700 block of Finch Court, reported at 1:13 p.m. The complainant reported responding to an ad on Facebook Marketplace for a vehicle. The victim met with an individual, gave them a $1,000 deposit, and decided after test driving the vehicle that they did not want it. The individual left without giving the $1,000 deposit back.

April 22

FLEEING & ELUDING WARRANT — 500 block of West Trenton Avenue reported at 9:33 a.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Upon approaching the vehicle, the driver sped off. Police were able to identify the 49-year-old male driver from Trenton, N.J., and issued a warrant for his arrest.

April 21

DRUG ARREST — Unit block of Oxford Valley Road, reported at 9:13 a.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the discovery of drug paraphernalia. A records check also revealed the 31-year-old male driver from Levittown was wanted by the Bucks County Sheriff's Office. The man and the 35-year-old female passenger were taken into police custody and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

ACCIDENT & DUI ARREST —Rt. 332 and Stony Hill Road, reported at 12:49 p.m. Police responded to the report of a two-vehicle traffic accident at the location. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 39-year-old male driver from Langhorne for possession of Oxycodone/Heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, and Driving Under the Influence.

April 20

THEFT — 1700 block of Kathy Drive, reported at 9:06 a.m. The complainant reported the theft of a
Go-kart from the parking lot sometime overnight.

FRAUD —400 block of Liberty Drive, reported at 10:41 a.m. The complainant reported an unauthorized use of their credit card for $525.

April 19

RETAIL THEFT — 1600 block of Big Oak Road at Kohl’s reported at 11:22 a.m. An employee reported that an unknown man entered the store with a partially full bag, walked around the store, then left with the bag now full. The man was found hiding in the back of a vehicle in the parking lot. The 34-year-old man from Philadelphia was taken into police custody. He was charged with Retail Theft, Receiving Stolen Property, and False ID to Law Enforcement. He was arraigned by District Justice Galloway and sent to BCCF instead of $25,000/10 percent bail.

FRAUD — 200 block of Wild Orchid Court, reported at 10:18 a.m. The complainant reported that an unknown person(s) accessed their bank account and withdrew $140.
