UPPER MAKEFIELD, PA — One local family earned a glowing thank-you from Upper Makefield authorities after donating rescue equipment to the municipality.
The donation will ensure that each patrol vehicle in Upper Makefield will be equipped with a “life line,” which will help police rescue distressed swimmers from rivers or canals.
“We would like to take a moment and thank the Green Family who were so kind and generous to donate rescue throw ropes to our department,” Upper Makefield police said in a statement.
