LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — A chase of a suspicious person, a 73-year-old arrested for drugs and a pair of eggings highlighted recent police activity in Lower Makefield Township.

Jan. 2

  • FRAUD – 900 block of Hunt Drive. Reported at 9:22 a.m. Complainant reported providing personal information in a phishing email.

Jan. 1

  • DRUG ARREST – River Road and E. Ferry Road. Reported at 2:24 p.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the discovery of drugs and drug paraphernalia. It was also revealed that the female had a burglary warrant out of Bristol Township. The 73-year-old male from Morrisville was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and the 27-year-old female was arrested for possession of methadone and drug paraphernalia. Both to be summonsed.

  • THEFT – 1700 block of Polo Run Drive. Reported at 11:49 a.m. Complainant reported theft of two Trek bicycles which were cut from the bike rack.
  • CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 1300 block of University Drive. Reported at 3:26 p.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) egged the residence.

  • CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 1300 block of Knox Drive. Reported at 8:18 a.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) egged their vehicle.

Dec. 29

  • RETAIL THEFT – 1600 block of Big Oak Road at Kohl’s. Reported at 8:51 p.m. Loss prevention detained a 55-year-old female from Morrisville for taking $203.36 worth of merchandise without paying. She was taken into police custody.

Dec. 28

  • FRAUD – 1300 block of Wayne Circle. Reported at 12:30 p.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) obtained their bank account information and wrote a check to Staples in the amount of $629.88.

Dec. 27

  • RESISTING ARREST – 200 block of Valley Drive. Reported at 10:10 a.m. While on patrol, police observed a male walking in the area acting suspicious. Due to several recently reported thefts of packages and thefts from auto in this and surrounding areas and a FedEx truck that just made a delivery on the block, police attempted to stop the male for investigation. He immediately put up a fight and attempted to flee. The 32-year-old male from Morrisville was taken into police custody and charged with resisting arrest and related charges.
