Morrisville Mourns Death Of Longtime Athletic Director

John Hubiak died Monday after battling a recent health concern, Morrisville's acting schools superintendent Sean Haines said.

MORRISVILLE, PA —The Morrisville School District has announced the death of long-time Morrisville Middle/Senior High School Athletic Director John Hubiak.

In a letter to the Morrisville school community, Acting Schools Superintendent Sean D. Haines said it is with "great sadness and a heavy heart" to state that Hubiak died on Monday.

Haines said that Hubiak had battled a health concern recently.

"Our Morrisville community and beyond will miss him dearly," Haines said. "He was a staunch supporter of our student-athletes for many years and is a Bulldog through and through."

Additionally, we have collaborated with our Bucks County Intermediate Unit #22 partners to have grief support counselors available to our students in addition to our District School Guidance Counselors and Lakeside In-School Support Counselors on Wednesday and Thursday.

More information will be made available to our students throughout the day Wednesday, school officials said.

Haines said that if any children need assistance, they should contact their main office for additional support.
