Pennsbury Serving Free Meals During Shutdown
The "grab and go" meals will be available on weekdays at Pennsbury High East in Fairless Hills every weekday starting Tuesday.
FALLSINGTON, PA — The Pennsbury School District will be serving free meals to kids during the time schools are shut down due to concerns about the spread of the new coronavirus.
Starting Tuesday, March 17, Pennsbury students can get a free bagged meal between 11 a.m.-1 p.m. The district is able to serve children 18 years and younger during the time that schools remain closed.
The "grab and go" meals will be available at the Pennsbury High School East bus dock, at 705 Hood Blvd. in Fairless Hills every week day. No applications are required, but children must be present to receive meals.

A student name and current school must be provided.
Meals are completely free and will be distributed in a drive-though fashion. No one will be allowed to enter the building. Cars will be directed to form a line at the pickup spot.

"Our goal is to make sure all children have access to healthy food during the closure and return nourished and ready to learn," the district said in a news release.
