UPPER MAKEFIELD, PA - Taylorsville Road in Upper Makefield is set to close next week for a pipe replacement, officials said.

The road is scheduled to close between Route 532 (Washington Crossing Road) and Mount Eyre Road starting on Monday, Aug. 1, through Wednesday, Aug. 3, from 7 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT).

During the closure, drivers on Taylorsville Road will be directed to use Mount Eyre Road and Route 32 (River Road). Local access will be maintained during the operation, officials said.

Drivers are encouraged to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because delays may occur.

The schedule is weather dependent, PennDOT added.
