FRAUD — 100 block of Wildflower Circle, reported at 5:18 p.m. The complainant reported receiving repeated calls from someone claiming to be from their bank, stating there was fraud on the account and they needed to transfer $8,000 to an unknown person.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT — 200 block of Morris Lane, reported at 3:25AM. Complainant reported Ring video captured an unknown person(s) driving their vehicle away at 2:19AM. Initial investigation revealed the suspect entered the unlocked 2006 Honda Odyssey and used the keys inside to steal the vehicle. Investigation ongoing.

Jan. 5

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A MOTOR VEHICLE ARREST — Route 1 and Oxford Valley Road, reported on Dec. 26 at 1:31 p.m. The complainant reported on Dec. 23 that his vehicle was involved in an accident at the location by an employee who did not have permission to operate the vehicle. A warrant was issued for the 42-year-old Trenton, N.J., man for the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and related charges. On Jan. 5, the man turned himself in. He was arraigned and released on $5,000 bail with 10 percent.

RETAIL THEFT — 1600 block of Big Oak Road at Kohl’s, reported on Nov. 10 at 11:23 a.m. Loss Prevention reported on Nov. 9 that an unknown man entered the store and removed four pairs of women’s ADIDAS sneakers without paying. The investigation led to the identity of the suspect. An arrest warrant was issued for the 46-year-old man from Roebling, N.J. On Jan. 3, the man was picked up on the warrant at the Philadelphia International Airport. He was transferred into the Lower Makefield police custody, arraigned, and released on $5,000 unsecured bail.

SOLICITING WITHOUT PERMIT — Unit block of South Manor Lane, reported at 4:24 p.m. The complainant reported that a man was soliciting for Victory Home Remodeling in the area without a permit. The man was advised to cease soliciting until a permit was obtained.

OPERATING VEHICLE WITHOUT INTERLOCK ARREST — Big Oak Road and Oxford Valley Road, reported at 8:26 p.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation revealed the 42-year-old male driver from Croydon had a suspended license and required an ignition interlock, which was not present. He was summonsed for Operating a Vehicle Without Ignition Interlock Device and related charges.

Jan. 2

FRAUD — 1500 block of Page Drive, reported at 5:10 p.m. The complainant reported being contacted by someone claiming to be with their bank, who advised them that fraudulent purchases were attempted. They were then transferred to someone claiming to be with the FDIC and instructed them to withdraw $20,000 and send it to an address for fingerprinting, at which point they realized it was a scam and disconnected the call.
