Woman Charged In Hit-And-Run At Yardley Wawa
Yardley Borough Police said that a Langhorne woman was involved in the incident last week in the Wawa parking lot on Main Street.
YARDLEY, PA — A 36-year-old Langhorne woman has been charged in a hit-and-run accident last week, police said.
The Yardley Borough Police Department said that the woman was charged with driving under the influence and related charges for an incident on May 1.
Police said that at 10 p.m. on Thursday, the woman backed out of a parking space at the Wawa at 44 S. Main Street and then backed into another vehicle.

A Yardley Borough police officer attempted to stop the striking vehicle on the scene, but police said the woman fled before being caught by the officer.
The driver was arrested, processed, and released pending a court date.
