Woman's Purse Stolen At Church In Morrisville
The theft happened during the church's weekly clothing drive on Tuesday.
MORRISVILLE, PA — Is no place sacred? Police in Morrisville may be wondering, as they investigate a woman's purse being stolen at a local church.
Police were called Tuesday to Morrisville Presbyterian Church, at 771 North Pennsylvania Ave., where a woman reported her purse had been stolen. The church was holding its weekly clothing drive at the time.
The woman said that, at about 11:30 a.m., a man came into the church and stole the purse. He is described as an older black male, wearing a blue plaid shirt, a tan jacket, blue jeans and a black baseball cap.

Morrisville Borough Police shared security camera images of the man on Wednesday.
