Yardley 2020 Memorial Day Parade Canceled
The borough confirmed Wednesday that the parade has been called off due to the coronavirus pandemic.
YARDLEY, PA — The coronavirus pandemic of 2020 has claimed another local event — the Yardley Memorial Day Parade.
Borough officials on Wednesday confirmed that the Memorial Day parade there has been canceled. Memorial Day 2020 is Monday, May 25.
A 7 a.m. ceremony, with 21-gun salute, at the Yardley Memorial Monument, will go ahead as planned, officials said.

"Remember what this day is about," borough officials wrote in a Facebook post. "It's not just about the picnics. It is to honor and remember those who gave all for your freedom."
