Yardley Mom's Company Delivers Healthy School Lunches
The Pack'd Lunch delivers fresh, healthy box lunches directly to students' cubbies at school.
YARDLEY, PA — A Yardley mom's new business is on a mission to make school lunch easier, healthier and more fun.
Kim Danley-McNulty, who has two young children of her own, calls The Pack'd Lunch a passion project. The new startup company delivers nutritious, organic, locally sourced lunches directly to the cubbies of students in Bucks County schools.
It currently serves private schools only, with hopes of expanding in the future.

Danley-McNulty said she understands the realities of a busy family life, which can make packing a healthy lunch that kids will actually eat difficult.
"I take the responsibility of feeding kids seriously," said Danley-McNulty, who is a certified food safety manager. "Our children are in critical developmental stages, both mentally and physically. We have expectations for them to learn complex skills — reading, writing, math — all while maintaining emotional regulation. But if we as parents, educators, caretakers)feed them highly-processed foods or foods loaded with sugar, we’re setting them up to fail.

"We owe it to them to give them the fuel they need to succeed."
She teamed up with holistic health counselor Kim Daniels. Lunches are made fresh every morning and hand-delivered to schools in boxes that sometimes include toys, educational cards and more.
Menus are posted each week on Facebook and Instagram. Parents may choose vegetarian or non-vegetarian options and share information on what foods their kids love, as well as what foods parents wished their children ate more often.
The Pack'd Lunch offers monthly plans, or 2-day, 3-day and 4-day flex plans for kids who don't need lunch delivered every day. The monthly plan costs $180 per month, according to the company's website.
Currently, The Pack'd Lunch delivers only to private schools in Bucks County. But Danley-McNulty said she hopes to expand the program to include public schools and schools outside of Bucks County.
"I want to be both a resource for working families, and for stay-at-home moms and dads looking for part-time work," she said. "Most of the parents I talk to say they prefer to never pack another lunch. Not me ... I love the whole process and am happy to take this off their plate."
