“Be careful not to narrow yourself to one career path,” Rosen told Poets&Quants. “In the field of business, there is so much opportunity to fulfill your dreams and passions. However, these dreams can often be suffocated by more profitable fields, bigger names, or having to live up to what others expect of you. Do what makes you happy, what fulfills your craving for life, and see that take you to new heights.”
Rosen, alongside classmate Savannah Josey, of North Carolina, represented Elon University on the list.
“Ava and Savannah stand out because not only have they strong academic credentials but they have made full use of the many opportunities Elon offers students to develop their leadership skills,” said Raghu Tadepalli, dean of the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business at Elon University.
“They represent what Elon University does so very well. They are articulate, hardworking, humble, and above all ethical leaders who will bring credit to the university as they progress through their careers. Both leave a rich legacy for students that follow them."
