The move is part of a broader push by Harmony EMS’s 10 partner municipalities to stabilize ambulance funding as rising costs and low insurance reimbursements strain emergency services across Pennsylvania.
   

• Gold coin dropped into local red kettle boosts Salvation Army fundraising efforts (butlereagle.com) — A mysterious gold coin has once again boosted the Harmony-Zelienople Salvation Army kettle campaign, helping support families in and around Zelienople this holiday season. Volunteers are ringing bells at BiLo in Jackson Township and Walgreens in Zelienople on Fridays and Saturdays through Dec. 22, with nearly all donations staying local for food, rent, utility, and seasonal assistance programs.
