Providence College Women’s Hockey Team Kicks Off New Year Against Connecticut
The Friars are home Friday and away against the University of Connecticut Sunday.
PROVIDENCE, RI — The Providence College women’s hockey team kicks off the New Year with two games against the University of Connecticut.
The Friars face off against the Huskies at home in a 2 p.m. tilt, then travel to Storrs, Connecticut, for a 3 p.m. encore on the road.
Providence enters the second half of the season in seventh place in Hockey East with a 7-10-2 overall record and 4-4-2 in association play.
Providence finished the first half of the season on a three-game win streak with a 3-2 overtime victory in the Mayor’s Cup against Brown University and a sweep of Merrimack in conference play.
