Rhode Island State Police Task Force Nabs Pawtucket Neighbors In Same Day: Cops
The High Intensity Drug Area Task Force arrested the two men, who live on the second floor of the same building, police said.
PAWTUCKET, RI — A Rhode Island State Police task force arrested two men who live on the same floor of a Pawtucket building, police said.
Carlos Lopes Depina, 18, and Jose Gomes, 21, were arrested Monday by the High Intensity Drug Trafficking task force, the state police said in a media release.

Depina was arrested on charges of felony assault, possession of a ghost gun, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and obstructing a police officer, according to the release.

Gomes was arrested on charges of resisting arrest and obstructing a police officer, the release said.

Depina and Gomes live on the second floor of the same Broadway Street building, according to the release.
The two men were processed at the Lincoln Barracks, arraigned and released pending a Sixth District court date.
