$1.177 Million Home Among Two Properties That Change Hands

Two deeds were recorded in the Barrington Town Hall last week, Sept. 8-14, for homes that changed hands, including a Mathewson Road home that sold for $1.177 million.

The homes are located in the Rumstick and middle school neighborhoods. They ranged in price from a low of $299,000 to the million-plus price tag for the Mathewson Road property.

• 36 Walnut Road., $299,000, sold by Richard Fairfield and Flora Fairfield to Matthew Collins and Nichole Collins
• 163 Mathewson Road, $1,177,000, sold by Rebecca Bishop and Francis Bishop (Living Trust) to Christopher Soutter and Maureen Soutter.
